About Sargoshi
A whisper from heart to heart.
The voice of Pakistani women
Sargoshi is an Urdu radio program made by and for women in Pakistan. It airs on FM 92.5 in Lahore at 5:00 PM, and every aired episode is also available on this website and on Instagram.
Our team includes a host, a gynaecologist and an Aalimaa. We talk about women’s health, mental wellbeing, family life, work and culture, and we take the conversation into local communities through face-to-face health sessions.
Our story
“Sargoshi” means a whisper: the kind of quiet, honest conversation shared between friends. We started this radio show with a simple belief: women deserve a space where their questions are answered without judgment and their stories are told in their own words.
Today Sargoshi shares its episodes online and meets women in person at community health sessions.
